Headers are raving about how the head feels when you rope it and pull your slack.Įasy to pull Smarty rides on wide skis and is light-weight so that your ATV doesn’t take the wear and tear you would get with heavier machines. Nothing else has the size and shape of a live steer. Realistic head design The Smarty head was sculpted off of a real corriente. When your top strand hits the legs it reacts exactly the same as it does on a real steer, no slipping or artificial noise. We stayed away from the slippery feel that you get with plastic, hollow legs. Realistic legs Smarty’s is the only one with solid legs that are shaped like a steer. In all there is four feet of stretch capacity when you dally on Smarty. Lastly, the spring loaded tow hitch will extend on those high speed runs. First the Smarty’s legs come together and then they pull back like a real steer. There are three springs that create the smooth, non-jerk pull you feel. Realistic dallying Dallying on a Smarty feels just like dallying on a steer. With Smarty, you can ride in the same position as you would in a live run. Every other machine cuts the corner when it turns, it forces you to compensate by adjusting your position. Smarty is the only trainer that gives you a true corner. Riding your horse in position is the most important part of the run.
This is the feature that makes Smarty stand head and shoulders over the competition. For Allen, it had to travel through the corner like a live steer.
